Ugly Christmas Lights to Make You Smile

Whenever I need a laugh during the holidays I take a look at these crazy light displays.  I know the people who put the lights up are happy with their creations and that's what's important.  But they do put a smile on my face.

Be sure to check out the photos from previous years.   New ones will keep showing up for this year as the season progresses.  Enjoy these free stress-busters!

  1. I have a couple of neighbors that would qualify under this category. But like you said, if it makes them happy...

  2. Andrew, I'm all for some holiday cheer. We could use it. I like the house that was next to a huge light-up display. They just put up lights that spelled out "DITTO" with a lit arrow pointing to the neighbors house! I bet their electric bill was a lot lower too. hehe

  3. We have a neighboring subdivision that expects everyone o light-up for Christmas. They have their grand illumination this weekend. It's a little over the top for my taste.

  4. I hear you, Hunter. "Less is more" doesn't seem to have caught on. We light one large evergreen in our yard with white lights and that's it. We like it.

I know of one neighborhood that declared everyone must light up their mailbox. That sort of faded away as people just didn't do it anymore.
