Make Paper Gift Bows

This tutorial shows how to make gift bows from magazine pages. I sometimes do this, only I use wrapping paper. I often use the same wrapping paper as the gift is wrapped in, but you can use a contrasting one if you like.

I wonder how it would look to use a piece of computer paper that you draw on with markers & then cut into strips for this project.
